Our 15 Units are
One Bedroom + One Bathroom Efficiencies
These efficiencies were built in partnership with the Shelby County Government, The City of Memphis, & HUD in 1992. We have been serving this community proudly for 33 years.
We house
80% Senior Citizens and 20% Low Income Families
Unfortunately, everything declines due to wear and tear over time and we need to update our units. We're seeking donations and grants to implement the necessary improvements needed as we serve our community.

Pastor McCray has been the CEO of Servnt Advisory Council since 1990. He's committed to providing support for low income families and senior citizens
Beverly McCray
Program Director
Beverly McCray has been Pastor McCray right hand for over 30 years. Her experience as a school teacher has been paramount and the driving force for the success of SERVANT Advisory Council.
Bridgette Casey
Resident Manager
Bridgette has been the resident manager for 10 years. Her background working with the Sheriff Dept and the VA Hospital gives her an insight that connects well with the residents.

I am a retiree and I figured I’d share thoughts about the place I’ve come to call home for
a good while. Beverly Terrace Complex is a small tucked away complex, just a handful
of one bedroom apartments (less than 15 of us calling it home). We’re not fancy and
the address isn’t exactly picture perfect, but what matters here is the sense of
community.

minister, with an 8 year veteran background. I’ve only lived here 8 years and find it to
be safe, clean and people friendly. I was looking for somewhere quiet with no kids and I
found it.
Neighbors welcomed me to the neighborhood and extended a friendly helping hand.
My next door neighbor gave me their parking space so I wouldn’t have to walk far to my
door. This complex looks out for one another. The Church across the street, Macedonia
Missionary Baptist Church, gives us boxes of food during holiday seasons.
